Let them eat chaos

I walked into a small, independent book store today, with wooden bookshelves and creaky floor boards, the kind of place that invites forgetting time and getting lost in the magic of words. As I skimmed the carefully curated collection, my eyes fell upon “Let Them Eat Chaos” by Kate Tempest. Never heard of her, but I picked it up and the lyrical tone immediately appealed. I purchased it, went home, warmed some soup, sat in my garden in the sun and devoured both the book and my lunch; and it was so vivid, poignant and true, I almost cried. This woman is power, she is light and darkness, and speaks from that place of truth in us all. You must check her out.

Traveled…

… to this living room just now, watching that video. Would have loved to be there in person.

When you travel a lot, it’s so chaotic.. it’s amazing that everything doesn’t go to hell. When you stay in one place, you think “Why is everything going to hell?”
